Hello! My name is Myles and I am a Casting Director and Producer with over 10 years of experience working in Toronto's film and television industry. Most of my film career has been spent in casting, but like everyone, I've tried on other hats along the way. Since 2023 I have been operating independent casting services, branded as the Book of Extras, through my company Chester House Media Inc. Currently, the focus is on, but not limited to, Background Casting for Union and Non-Union productions. The goal is to provide directors and producers with a seamless casting service tailored to fit their budgetary requirements and creative vision. With over a decade of experience in film and television, a thorough understanding of ACTRA's agreements, Ontario labour laws, and industry networks, I am pleased to offer the Book of Extras as a competitive solution to Background Casting in Toronto.

In addition to casting, I am excited to build my creative portfolio as a producer, photographer, writer and director. As a producer, I've had the pleasure working with amazing local directors and producers to bring ideas from script to screen. My body of work includes the released short films "Enigma" (2022) and "Of Late" (2024); along with upcoming short films "Murder, She Toked" (2025), "Nonna" (2025) and, "Bloom" (2027). It wouldn't be a true creative portfolio if I didn't include some of my own scripted projects in there; projects that will be coming soon.
